About

It was from an early age that I found myself playing with my brother’s action figures, finding them far more compelling and interesting then my own. His were strange and fantastical—grotesque and meant to terrify, where my toys were sweet. And therefore…entirely boring to me. In particular, I found myself drawn to the most sinister looking of the bunch.

That continued all through my life. In movies, in books, in video games, it didn’t matter. I was there for the bad guy. Villains can be more dynamic, more emotional, and can break the rules in ways that a hero cannot. They can be wicked and dark, playful and sweet, violent and terrifying.

I love the monsters.
And if you agree with me, then my stories are for you.

Who am I?

I have worked in a wild bunch of industries. From Theatre Production as a special effects artist (I was the “Blood Queen of Boston” for a good few years there) to Creative Director for a company that designed live-action entertainment concepts like 5 Wits and Level99. Now, I’m Senior UX Designer for Deep Silver Volition, the makers of the Saints Row games.

I’ve also worked in tourism, telling spooky ghost stories to unsuspecting guests on the nighttime streets of Boston, where I played an undead circus ringmaster. (Yes, I can use a bullwhip.)

Nothing says ‘love’ like bombing around old burying grounds together on weekends.

I have two cats and a dog, said afore-mentioned husband, and in case you haven’t noticed, I like to write and draw in my spare time.
